On a hot summer day, a thirsty crow flew over a village. In her search for water, she suddenly noticed a pot below her. As she came down to drink, she saw that there was very little water in it.
The clever crow noticed some pebbles nearby and thought of a plan. She picked up a pebble in her beak and dropped it into the pot. Then she picked up another and dropped it in. Then another pebble, then another, until she had dropped enough pebbles into the pot that the water rose high enough for her to drink.
The thirsty crow then drank the water and quench her thirst. She then flew away.
