Once upon a sunny morning in a vast green meadow, a slow-moving tortoise named Tina met a speedy hare called Harry. As the two conversed, Harry quickly pointed out how slow Tina was, amusing himself with the idea that such a creature dared to roam in the open. Feeling insulted, Tina declared a race between them, vowing to prove otherwise. Always a sport, Harry agreed with a laugh, dubious of Tina’s chance to win.
As the race commenced, Harry darted ahead with blinding speed. Confident in his lead, he decided to sit under a tree and take a nap, believing there was no way Tina could catch up. Yet, the determined tortoise ambled along steadily, never once stopping to take a break.
Hours passed, and after a refreshing slumber, Harry awoke. To his shock, he saw Tina crossing the finish line just moments away. In a panic, he sprinted towards her, but it was too late; Tina had already won the race.
Slow but steady wins the race.
