Every afternoon in Cookie Land, when the clock struck three, something magical happened. Rainbows appeared, chocolate rivers sparkled, and, most importantly, it was time for a snack! Now, you might think everyone rushed to fill their tummies, but there was always a last cookie that no one touched—until today!
My name is Choco, and I am proudly known as the Cookie Monster. Just me, Choco, and no one else. Now this last cookie, a hulking chocolate chip treat, was all mine. At least, that’s what I thought…
“Hey, Choco, how about sharing that cookie?” my buddy Benny Brownie asked. Talk about a crazy idea! “No way, José!” I replied. I gripped the cookie tightly and booted Benny right into a chocolate fountain.
But then came Sally Sprinkles, Captain of the Sprinkle Squad. “Choco, you’ll be sorry if you don’t share,” she warned. Who does she think she is? So I picked up my cookie shield and whacked her right into her sprinkle jar.
With a thud, a new hero landed out of nowhere! WHOOSH! It was my good friend Captain Muffin. “Choco, my friend, we must join forces and share that cookie!” he announced. Share? Never! I made my light saber from sour licorice and sent him straight into the cookie oven. I mean, that’s not going to hurt him too much, right?
But it dawned on me. When I looked at that cookie glistening in the sunlight, I had to face the truth… that cookie wasn’t just a snack; it was a celestial body of cookie goodness. My mouth watered. But where was everyone? I popped the cookie in my mouth, savoring it… YUM! And suddenly, BOOM! The ground shook.
Out stumbled all my friends, even those I’d booted into the fountains and ovens. “Choco, you didn’t share the cookie!” they wailed. Oops! But look, they all still liked me. So instead of fighting them off, I broke that sugary treat in half and shared it with my pals. And guess what? The cookie multiplied miraculously! What joy! There were now cookies everywhere!
It was a cookie miracle! All it took was sharing. Now, I’m not saying I believe in cookie miracles, but maybe there’s a lesson here about sharing. The end.
